Not So Innocent

Reviews for Science Fiction, Paranormal, Fantasy or plain unique books. Books are rated with stars and a judge of Innocent (safe for kids), Not So Innocent (safe for teens and older children) or Not Innocent (for adults but not naughty.) This site does not review Erotica since it does review children's stories. (I think it would personally feel weird to do that.) This site will review paperbacks, ebooks that I personally pick up, and children's stories.

Review of City With No People-Special review

As strange as it is, this is actually a book review of a book that does not exist, in our world at least. If it did, I would buy it. I was moving around, trying to find the right layout that fit for me, something different that spoke of my own personality. Well, I found it. I had to think a moment why it registered so strongly with me when I remembered. This is the only movie I know that has a book series in it, and only it.

The book in the picture is a part of a series called City With No People. This book was published only for one of the main characters, although she does not know that and neither does her owner. Every once in awhile, the main character Chii would see a new book in the series and she gravitated toward it.
The books are short, but so good. Philosophical in fact. A small excerpt is used above in my layout, but just in case it changes in the future I will place a small bit here:
“Being with them is fun. More fun than being with people.
Nobody comes outside anymore. There are no people in this city.
I will leave this city and go to another one.
I hope that I will meet someone. Someone just for me.
But if that special someone falls in love with me…
I will have to leave that someone.
Even so, I want to meet that special someone.

This is what I think as I leave the city with no people.”

Of course I don’t give out stars for this, but if I could I would give it six. The books are very short, but if you type inside google “A City With No People” with the word “Chobits” you might be able to find the whole book without having to rent the whole series of Chobits. However, if you want that interactive feeling, you can watch the video below. You should be able to find more I bet. Just…to my knowledge it doesn’t actually exist as a book.
